Get involved!

There are plenty of ways to get involved with your Stevens Square-Loring Heights community. How will you make an impact on the neighborhood?

Overlook garden

The Overlook Garden is a native habitat garden, located on 17th Street between 2nd Avenue and Stevens Avenue, attracting birds, bees, butterflies, neighborhood strollers and dog walkers. If you’re interested in helping us maintain this neighborhood treasure, contact board@stevenssquare.org.

The SSCO Safety Team is a long-standing group of neighbors who work to promote safety and to engage community members, through neighborhood walks and other events, to make Stevens Square-Loring Heights a welcoming place for everyone to live, work, play and visit.

Stevens Square Community Organization accomplishes its work through three standing committees: Events & Engagement, Neighborhood Development (on hiatus), and Safety (on hiatus). Everyone is welcome to attend our Board and committee meetings! Attending meetings are a great way to meet your neighbors and find out what's happening in your community. Check out our events calendar and save the date for our upcoming community meetings. We hope to see you there!
