Sign up for an art workshop from a local artist – a new medium each week – lessons will have varying age categories. Leave with a finished project and enjoy time in a fabulous neighborhood garden! Watercolor Fairy Wren
Learn how to use watercolors by creating a fairy wren bird perched on a branch with clouds in the background. We will start with sketches of the wren and then apply several watercolor washes before adding the final details.
Edward Johnson is a local artist here in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Watercolor is his favorite painting medium. Charcoal and pastels are his drawing mediums. He also sews leather purses and makes dresses. He was featured with New York Times in 2014.
