Sunday, September 6th: Lissa Karpeh

“You Don’t Know Me but Here’s My Story________.”

We all have stories to tell, but we don’t all get a chance to share them ourselves. In our recent times of uncertainty, raw and transparent conversations are best needed. In this workshop we will explore the power of owning our narratives by sharing our individual stories.

This workshop will invite participants to share their stories publicly, stories they want others to know about them. Participants will submit 3 photos of themselves to be  printed before the event and upon arriving at the workshop those photos will be glued to a large unstretched canvas, painted in red with words “You don’t know me, but here’s my story________.” After sharing their stories (If they wish) each person will write one word that best embodies their story and persona.
