Seeking photography/videography services for 2019 Red Hot Art Festival
The Red Hot Art Festival is an annual festival celebrating the DIY heart and soul of Minneapolis culture in Minneapolis’ Stevens Square-Loring Heights neighborhood. Produced by the Stevens Square Community Organization, the event is now in its 18th year. More details about the festival are available on the SSCO website and on Facebook.
SSCO is seeking to contract a documentarian, or a documentary team, to capture the essence of the 2019 Red Hot Art Festival through shareable audio-visual media.
Scope of work:
- Attend and document at least 3 hours of the Red Hot Art Festival, including 3-6 PM on Saturday, July 13th, 2019.
- Capture high-quality candid photo and video of performances, vendors, and attendees, to be provided to festival organizers within 2 weeks of the festival dates.
- Produce a short (2-5 min) edited video using footage from the festival that tells the story of the event, per a creative brief created in collaboration with SSCO’s Executive Director, within 4 weeks of the festival.
Compensation: $500 paid via check upon receipt of the final deliverable.
While we do prefer a single contractor (or contractor team) that can execute the entire project, if you are only able to satisfy one part of the contract (for example, photography), you can apply for up to half of the contract fee ($250). You will still be required to attend at least 3 hours of the festival.
To apply: Please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org with a brief message outlining your qualifications for this job, and links to work samples, by Sunday, July 7th.
Questions: contact Scott at email@example.com, no phone calls please.
